Ruhl Gives Back for the Holidays
Across all of our regions, our offices have been spreading holiday joy by giving back to their communities, as we continually strive for excellence in community service as well within the Ruhl Family. December 2 was the National Association of Realtor's Ring the Bell Day across the nation, and all of our offices participated to help raise funds for the Salvation Army.
Pictured to the left is Wendy Corzatt from our Burlington Office, ringing the bell at a local grocery store. Thanks to all of our offices for taking an hour or two out of their day to give back to this special cause! Our Corporate and Bettendorf Offices raise money each Christmas to buy presents for children and families in need. This year, the Corporate Office adopted a family through the Safe Path Domestic Violence program through Family Resources in Davenport. They were able to provide the family with everything on their wish lists, including essential winter clothes and toys for the children. They were also able to raise enough funds to provide gift cards for even more family essentials!
Another major charity supported by our offices is Toys for Tots. Our Moline Office began their campaign in November, while the Iowa City and Cedar Rapids Office started theirs in December. All three offices collected more bins than we could count, in addition to monetary donations that were used to purchase even more toys! Pictured left is the Cedar Rapids Drive and pictured below is the Moline Drive!
Our Muscatine Office participated in the annual city-wide Downtown Holiday Walk. The agents and staff greeted the community with warm hot chocolate and cheery music. Even Mr. and Mrs. Claus were there to help spread the holiday cheer!
The Davenport Office chooses multiple community organizations to give back to through their annual auction and fundraising event . This year, the office was able to raise over $2500 for places like the Davenport West High School Food Pantry and King's Harvest!
