Why We Started
As we near the end of our July campaign, we want to remind you why we began. On June 28, we set out to raise $2,500 for Disabled American Veterans (DAV) by July 31. The DAV works to fulfill promises made to the men and women who have served the United States, and to empower veterans to lead high-quality lives with respect and dignity. They do this in multiple ways. By providing over 700,000 rides to and from medical appointments and assisting veterans with more than 300,000 benefits claims annually, the DAV is a leader in medical resources. They are also a leader in connecting veterans with meaningful employment by hosting job fairs and providing resume building resources.
